How old are you? 29


What is your shoe size? true 12...but range between 11.5-13 depending on the shoe and how much i want it.


Where are you from? NYC


What do you do besides collecting shoes? Photography and I also have a pretty mean collection of Snapple caps haha


How long have you been collecting? going on 14 years now.


What is your favorite basketball shoe and why? Nike Flightposite 1. Mainly because of the design and colorways but it's also one of the lightest shoes out there to provide good ankle support for someone of my size....and i can't forget that zoom air in there! I also love that it was part of the Alpha Project Series which is my all-time favorite series from Nike. It just looks so good on the feet when you're wearing them...and looking down...straight perfection imo.

What was your first basketball shoe? Air Raid all black...also happened to be my first Nike shoe ever.


What shoes are you currently looking for? any grails? the white/black Flightposite TB and the white/navy Flightposite...need those to complete my set. I wouldn't mind some of the sample and PE Flights as well...but since i couldn't wear 'em...i wouldn't wanna shell out the cash they command. I would also love a pair of Air Unlimiteds and a pair of Air Ups....Nike needs to get on with those og cw retros already!


What is your current rotation for basketball? All my Flightposites and Foamposites(Ones, Pros, & Lites)...maybe a couple Lebron 8 v2's from time to time.


Who is your favorite basketball player and why? Alonzo Mourning...that guy was a monster. Most would look back to that era and their first choice at Center would be Shaq, but not me....Mourning was my kind of player from defense to offense...he got it done. I was a fan from day one and even though he went to the Heat, I still rooted for him to do good. I was glad to see him get a ring before it was all said and done because there were so many GREAT players from that era that walked away without rings....it's a shame but what can you do when the Bulls ruled with their iron fist hahaha...also Barkley, Penny, & Webber deserve an honorable mention!


Who is your favorite up and coming basketball player? Hmmmmm....hard to say because I haven't been following basketball as much as I used to....but if I had to choose someone then it'd be Chris Paul.I'm not even sure he can be considered up and coming after being in the league for six seasons already but I do think he's got the ability to be a dominant force and can definitely win a couple championships if surrounded with the right squad. Honorable mentions: KD, STAT, & Landry Fields.


Who do you look for around the basketball forum? Usually...all the other Flightposite fans...and of course the Foamposite fans...not the "new" foamposite fans...but those guys that know EXACTLY what they're talking about....and also those fellas that can really take a great photo! Incognito, KG, NYCPosite, CubanLu, eddo, T21D, cee210, Uncle, Bugs, Fijizzle, d-Zell, why_i_ball, Auditude, Jca998, Raginraj, Chuck Norris, Russian, YadigJoey, Mastergrim, Coryblack....and i'm sure there are a couple of dudes i forgot....lot of good dudes around these parts

Yeezy 2!!!

Let the hype begin. After Nike inked Kanye West to a deal to release a signature shoe, Mr. West became the first non-athlete to get a Nike model. Lifestyle and culture combined with sport, but it didn’t feel like a surprise to any who were familiar with the sneaker game. After all, hip-hop and basketball have been practically joined at the hip since the inception of the musical culture. So when the three Air Yeezy colorways dropped, sneaker fans, music fans, cultural icons, and many in between clamored for the limited edition releases. Well, get ready for more insanity, as the preview for the Air Yeezy 2, even as blurry and nondescript as it appears in these shots from the Black Mamba video we just showed you, will get the rumor mill churning immediately. Will the new model use the same black and pink colorway as one edition of the first model? Will it have a similar high top shape and strap? It seems that these shots do answer some of these questions, but let’s wait until the early shots of these begin to leak for the final answers. For now, we can examine these screenshots and wait.
